The Need, Right Now
Somewhere in Palm Beach County, a child is experiencing trauma that could shape their entire future. But it doesn’t have to define it.
Every month, more than 50 children enter our local child welfare system. Every month, 130+ babies fight for their lives in the NICU. These families need healing. They need hope. They need a community that shows up.
The Children’s Healing Institute has the proven programs to break cycles of trauma and build resilience — but today we can serve only a fraction of the families who need us. Until now.
The Champions Circle
The CHI Champions Circle is a community of people who step up together — as monthly sustainers and as leadership donors — to build the steady, reliable support that lets CHI reach more families every year. Some Champions give $10 a month. Some give $25,000. Every one of them is a Champion.

When you give to the Champions Circle, you’re not funding a single program — you’re building the foundation for community-wide resilience. Every gift, from $10 a month to $50,000 a year, brings us closer to serving all 525 families.
The Champions Circle Giving Levels
One Circle, two ways to step up: give monthly as a sustaining Champion, or annually as a leadership Champion. Recognition is by your total annual giving, however your gift arrives.
Monthly Champions (sustaining)
Comfort Champion — $10/mo (about $120 a year). The first circle of support: comfort for a child and reassurance for a family in a hard season.
Bedside Champion — $25/mo (about $300 a year). Steady, hands-on support beside families through the moments that matter most.
Home Champion — $50/mo (about $600 a year). Care that reaches beyond a single visit and into the home, where children heal and grow.
Circle Champion — $100+/mo (about $1,200 a year). A sustaining force behind every program, family, and child we serve.
Leadership Champions (annual — one-time, foundation, or pledged)
Guardian — $1,000+ a year. A cornerstone supporter helping keep programs strong all year.
Advocate — $5,000+ a year. Fueling real capacity to reach more families in crisis.
Visionary — $10,000+ a year. Powering whole programs and long-term resilience.
Cornerstone Champion — $25,000+ a year. A lead partner shaping the future of children’s healing in Palm Beach County.

What Your Gift Really Does
According to Florida DCF’s own estimates, every dollar invested in the Parent Aide Program returns up to $24 in avoided child welfare and treatment costs.
Every child kept safely at home instead of entering foster care saves our community nearly $8,000 a year in placement costs alone — and more than $100,000 a year in the long-term costs of untreated trauma (Florida DCF, 2024).
A Circle Champion’s $1,200 a year funds nearly half of one child’s full year in the Parent Aide Program.
Monthly Champions provide the dependable, year-round base that lets CHI plan and stay present. Leadership Champions sustain entire programs and make new capacity possible. Together, they turn 175 families served into 525.

What is the CHI Champions Circle?
A community of donors who step up together to build steady support for children and families in Palm Beach County — as monthly sustainers and as leadership donors. Every Champion counts toward our founding goal of 100.
I give once a year, or my foundation gives annually — am I a Champion?
Yes. The Champions Circle is for everyone who steps up, not only monthly givers. Leadership Champions give annually — as a one-time gift, a foundation grant, or a pledge — and are recognized by their total annual giving. A gift at any leadership level makes you a Champion.
How is a monthly gift different from an annual gift?
Both build resilience. Monthly giving spreads a meaningful gift across the year and renews automatically, giving CHI dependable support. Annual and leadership gifts provide larger capacity all at once. Give whichever way fits you best.
Can I change or cancel my monthly gift?
Yes, anytime. You’re always in control — raise, lower, pause, or cancel through your donation account or by contacting us.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes. CHI is a registered 501(c)(3); gifts are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. If a gift includes goods or services (for example, event admission), your receipt will show their value and the deductible portion. See the tax note below.
Will my name be listed publicly?
Only if you choose. You can opt in to be listed on our Champions wall, ask to be listed anonymously, or keep your gift private.
